New data shows millennials are in worse financial shape than every preceding living generation and may never recover. Their woes have delayed traditional adult milestones in ways expected to alter the nation’s demographic and economic contours. We now need to reframe healthcare and care delivery with these aspects in mind states a recent Wall Street Journal article, referenced here.  We need to help millennials focus on lower cost prevention rather than developing acute issues and needs. DataLink is designing wellness exams, referral preferences, and pharmacy details to ensure each patient is getting their best benefit. We are helping reduce the cost of care at the health plan, market, product, and patient levels. Changing cost trends must be done at the tactical level and at the point-of-care and keep consumer literacy in mind to be truly successful.
