Describe what you do at DataLink - in your own words

I head the Data science team in the India office at DataLink, where I research, develop, and manage data science solutions and capabilities to enhance DataLink’s product suite. My role involves several key responsibilities and initiatives that drive innovation and support the company’s mission to address critical problems in the healthcare domain.

What do you like most about DataLink?

The best thing about DataLink is their exceptional product suite, which stands out due to its uniqueness and the crucial problems it addresses in the healthcare domain. Each product is meticulously designed to tackle specific challenges. What particularly excites me is the immense potential for integrating artificial intelligence and machine learning into these products. This potential for technological advancement and the positive impact it can have on the healthcare ecosystem is incredibly exciting and promising.

Which DataLink value is your favorite? and Why?

Be Accountable & Engage & Grow Together
All these values are important and have their own place in making DataLink a most preferred workplace, but I specifically like the focus on accountability and growing together in a team. The reason for that is while accountability makes me perform well as an individual, engage & grow together teaches me that it’s a team that achieves the goals, not an individual.

How do you put this value to work in your worklife?

As a director of data science in India, I manage a small team where each individual has a lot of new capabilities to research and develop. I put the values of accountability and engage & grow together into practice daily by ensuring that me and each of my team members take full responsibility for the tasks, consistently meeting deadlines, and maintaining high standards of quality.

When collaborating with the team, I actively promote participation and knowledge sharing, support my colleagues in their tasks and seek feedback to improve our collective performance. This collaborative approach fosters a culture of mutual respect and continuous improvement, allowing us to achieve our goals effectively and efficiently.

Additionally, the supportive and inclusive work environment at DataLink encourages open communication and the sharing of ideas, making me feel respected and integral to the company’s success.
