Describe what you do at DataLink - in your own words
I’m the company’s technical writer. I support internal initiatives as well as external/customer needs. Internally, I write SOPs that focus on our knowledge and best practices, training and onboarding, compliance, and continuity across departments.
Externally, I create handbooks and quick starts on product functionalities and workflows, write knowledge base articles for our Customer Support Help Center, and communicate new features in our biweekly Evoke Release notification and notes. I’m also a common resource that colleagues can reach out to if they ever need help with their documentation needs.
What do you like most about DataLink?
What I like the most about DataLink is the opportunity to perform my dream job as a technical writer. Through a variety of projects, I’m able to work with talented and passionate team members and contribute to the success of our company and customers. What more could I ask for?

There are several reasons why I feel valued at DataLink, so it’s hard for me to pick just one. I’m grateful that DataLink respects employees, recognizes contributions, and supports a healthy work-life balance.
What has been the best part about working at DataLink?
The best part about working at DataLink is getting to collaborate with several teams on a variety of projects. I’m particularly inspired by the expertise and passion of my colleagues to do their best for the company and our customers. I’m able to learn so much from them through their experiences and willingness to help me.
How have you grown at DataLink?
I’ve been growing with this company for over six years. I started in product, and eventually became a product owner for reports. That role gave me valuable insights into the development process. After a couple of years, I moved to account management and gained even more experience with our customers and their needs. When the technical writer position opened, I was thrilled to combine my natural love for writing with everything I learned in the company

DataLink has given me multiple resources to develop my career: support in certifications, access to LinkedIn Learning and Udemy courses, and weekly presentations to gain wisdom on our products, industry, customers, and processes.
